Poppers: What is it?

Did you know that only 3% of the population has ever used poppers? Mainly gay and libertine  ... Long banned in some countries (this is still the case in England for example), now anyone can buy it at low prices and that is certainly what makes it so popular. In France, its sale and consumption are completely legal. In Switzerland, even if Poppers are not considered a narcotic, even if their consumption is legal, their sale is prohibited without specific authorization. It is therefore difficult to obtain it.

What are the effects of Poppers? And what is it exactly for?

Poppers is taken by inhalation through the nose and instantly causes an increased heart rate and muscle relaxation. It also causes a sensation of very intense hot flash from vasodilation. Poppers, also called "Nitrite" comes in the form of a transparent yellow-orange liquid. It is a very volatile and flammable product! Avoid romantic candles in its area! You find it in small bottles ranging from 9 to 30 ml.

Sold online but also at some Sexshops, Poppers is popular in the sex industry because it is a vasodilator that works by relaxing all the muscles in our body. Some users like to take it during sex because it relaxes all the muscles, including those of the vagina and anus. Those same muscles linked to the blood supply system make the heart beat faster and so that's the sudden euphoric effect you get when you inhale this substance.

The dangers of Poppers

Like all substances, it should not be abused. Here are the three essential Infos to know to protect yourself from the dangers of the Poppers:

* Taking poppers and Viagra or another over-the-counter sexual enhancer at the same time is VERY dangerous! Risk of heart attack, so watch out guys!

* You must not drink the Poppers. You can burn your throat, esophagus and digestive tract.

* This causes side effects such as headaches or erectile dysfunction for example. This substance is legal in Switzerland but remains dangerous. It should therefore be used with moderation!

Poppers at TVR?

Also known as the “Sex Drug”, Poppers is very popular among young people, gays, but also with some sex workers and their clients.

At TVR, we don't have them available to customers. We don't sell any either. If a client wishes to use it, they should bring their own bottle and take responsibility if things go wrong.

Why ? As we mentioned above, taking Poppers can carry health risks - particularly when mixed with other drugs - and there have been deaths associated with poppers.

Indeed, the risks include: Chemical burns with the development of a rash around the nose and mouth, and / or irritation of the nose and throat. Death, if swallowed; or if used by individuals with heart problems.
